Sessions begin with professional hairstyling and makeup application so you can sit back and enjoy the magical experience. An elegant selection of silk draping fabrics, maternity gowns, dresses, robes, baby outfits, props and accessories are available for you to use during your session.

I still remember all the bad pictures of myself growing up (hello film cameras! LOL) so I am always apprehensive of having my pictures taken. Fortunately for me, Sarah is amazing! She has the gift of seeing a person as they truly are, and capturing the image with perfection!

For me, being in front of a camera feels unnatural; I feel exposed, overwhelmed, and self-conscious. Sarah provided the antidote to my misgivings. Her professional but warm manner put me at ease. In her competent hands, I felt safe. As she guided me through the various poses, there were moments which felt awkward and alien. However, because I trusted her and had embraced the process, I was able to let go of the worry and insecurity which I usually feel. When I saw the final gallery, I was thrilled. What I saw were images of a woman who looked happy, relaxed, and attractive. Sarah's gifts as a photographer and makeup artist are impressive and undeniable. Yet it is her ability to connect with her clients and draw them out which is most remarkable. Her work is stunning.
I feel quite blessed to have had the opportunity to be photographed by her. She guided me and captured the essence of me. Her work has helped me to understand that even as a mature woman, I can hold my head up high and move through the world with confidence. She managed to peek into my soul with her camera.

"I WAS ABLE TO LET GO OF THE WORRY AND INSECURITY WHICH I USUALLY FEEL"
Sarah’s reputation as an amazing photographer precedes her, so I was pretty excited about the opportunity to be photographed by her. At the time of the shoot, I was six months pregnant with my twin daughters and enormous. I had also given birth to my son less than a year and a half before, and was on modified bed rest. This was coupled with the fact that I am extremely picky and attentive to the most trivial details, so I was feeling vulnerable and unconfident. To say Sarah is a great photographer would be an understatement. She is truly exceptional. She is super attentive to detail and will work relentlessly until she has each shot just right. She is a gifted makeup-artist, and most importantly, a really kind person, which makes working with her even better. While Sarah will have you pose in ways that may be out of your comfort zone, she is so understanding and uses humor, empathy, and patience to coach you through them, all with the promise that the final product will be amazing (and trust me, it will be).

I came across one of Sarah’s maternity photos on Facebook while searching for a maternity/newborn photographer. As soon as I saw her photos I crossed my fingers and toes hoping that Sarah would be available. The booking, planning, etc. was a breeze. Sarah is simply the sweetest and as accommodating as you would want anyone to be when you’re looking to capture such an important part of your life. We have now done four sessions with her and for me, the most important thing Sarah does that differentiates her from others is she has a way of beautifully capturing the personality and intricacies of her subjects. She also has a way of connecting with people when she is photographing them which makes them comfortable and therefore results in wonderful photographs.

I felt uncomfortable with the idea that someone would be focusing all their attention on me - which ended up being the complete opposite of how I felt after the photo shoot. I actually liked the personal attention and the deliberate choices in lighting, fashion and makeup. Sarah really had an understanding of who I was as a person, which in turn allowed my best characteristics to come through her lens. Sarah is a master of posture and posing. She really knew what would be the most flattering based on a wealth of photographic experience. I trusted her inherently. I was tremendously pleased with the final gallery. I've never seen so many pictures that I liked of myself in one place. The biggest compliment I could bestow is this: I felt Sarah made me look as good, if not better, than on my wedding day. The photos remind me of my own personal power and bring a renewed sense of self-confidence
